Drug addiction can have a long lasting life effects on a person and the society at large if we all turn blind eyes to these menace deviling the youths of our society.

Support system that are committed to rehabilitating, educating, inspiring and empowering these youths on their recovery journey is very critical.

This is where United Breeds Foundation, also known as Strength of Love, a harm reduction Organization, is making giant strides in their local community, helping the identified addicts with  necessary support to get over all forms of addiction.

Over the past two years, the foundation has had a positive impact stemming the scourge of drug addiction and alcohol use disorder in Festac town, Amuwo Odofin and it’s environs, giving local support in addition to the right medical and professional care to help fight this menace deviling the youths of Festac town.

Why celebrating an Anniversary?

According to the Convener, United Breeds Foundation, Mr. Anthony Abakporo, who opined the need for the celebration in his own words, “It’s a time to reflect and look back at where we started from, when we hit the streets on evangelism to win souls for Christ, and saw a much greater need as most of the youths are indulged in one form of addiction. We were able to win some of them who are here with us today as part of our testimony to what God is doing through us.”

Castro Shares his experience and how United Breeds Foundation came to his rescue. He is one of the beneficiaries of the skills acquisition on ICT.

The Foundation has had various programs to engage the youths and taken them out of the streets, rehabilitating, educating, inspiring and equipping them with various skills acquisition schemes such as soap making, sanitizers, ICT etc. also empowering them with financial capital, laptops etc. While others who are willing and able to work with the right qualification got jobs.
