A harm reduction organisation, United Breeds Foundation, is set to begin a major traffic control service to ease the regular traffic gridlock at Apple junction, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos. This laudable community service will benefit motorists who drive through that location.
A statement by the convener, David Ohiembor and the Youth coordinator of the project, Michael Onuwaje, said: “We are informing residents and the road users to cooperate with this development. We also thank the Police Division, Festac and the Area E Command for their efforts in training our youths. In partnership, we shall work out a better Amuwo.”
The foundation also appealed to individuals and corporate bodies to support the initiative, which would commence May 18, 20222.
It added: “Individuals and corporate bodies who would like to support us in cash and kind are welcomed as it will be cost-effective to engage these youths through this period.”
