WE HAD A SIMPLE WEDDING RECEPTION!

After the exchange of vows(Solemnization of Holy Matrimony) in church, My wife and I, opted for a simple wedding reception.

The decor were inspired by the things that we like – colours and flowers. Joy wanted as many flowers as possible and Bloglow Conceptts made sure they were incorporated in all the bouquets. The decoration was awesome – Thanks to Bloglow Concepts.

The cake was beautifully made, It was a Vanilla Cake, Joy wanted a white Cake with a flowery touch of our colours. This was beautifully executed by Ally Cakes.

Overwhelmingly, we just wanted it to be fun, Ngee & Rich(Founders of Keeping Marriage Alive Initiative, KMA) helped in creating lasting memories for us by getting us a dance instructor few weeks before the wedding( We only had time to rehearse trice, 1hour on each session) and also making sure the reception was well coordinated. We”re forever grateful to Ngee & Rich.

A lot of wedding we looked at there seemed to be a lot of competition which was not what we wanted. We just wanted a day full of things we liked and to see this expressed in candid, nice photos too. We needn’t go out of our way to make our wedding just the way we wanted.
