Maryam Adeniyi Wins Miss Green and White Nigeria Pageant 2015

After an amazing series of beauty, Fashion, Lifestyle and Public votes which kept every Nigerian excited as it was competitive, interesting and educative.

The entire pageant was social media linked as all the votes were done through their Facebook page. It was not costing and you can only vote once which boosted up a fair score. 37 Ladies representing the 37 States plus FCT were nominated for the pageant this year (2015), after various voting and screening, The top three which emerged from the facebook voting procedure are, Miss Delta with 3139 votes, Miss Zamfara with 5,969 votes and Maryam Adeniyi Miss Sokoto was announced winner with a total votes 6,341.

Maryam Adeniyi representing Sokoto State was also announced winner of the finals of the Miss Green and White Nigeria which was held Sunday 4th October, at the Airport Hotel, Ikeja-Lagos.

Maryanne Obiora the 1st runner-up crowned MGWN Intercontinental and Naomi Arinze 2nd runner-up crowned MGWN empowerment.

The pageant was quite entertaining and displayed the Nigerian culture, lifestyle, fashion and most of the activities an average Nigerian should love. It was interesting, the media subscribed to every of their articles and photos.  Like Miss Green and White Nigeria on Facebook.

The final pageant program which was held at the Airport hotel was fascinating. Celebrities attended the pageant, Her Excellency Princess (Mrs) Sarah Adebisi Sosan, the formal Deputy Governor of Lagos State was the guest speaker for the final pageant. Other dignitaries in the pageant includes, Queen of 2014 Miss Green and White Nigeria, Faith Oyindamola with Deji Bakare former Mr. Nigeria, Ambassador Chibuzor J.C. Patrick, Hon. Uche Obiajulu Candidate House of Rep. Anambra State, Mr. Sabir of WD40, Mr. Marshall Anthony a broadcast entrepreneur, to crown it all the event was hosted by Wofai of MITV and Papa B top Nigerian comedian.

The pageant was superb, according to the founder, Juliet Geoffrey-Porbeni of 2Side Modeling Concepts, the pageant is designed to promote peace and unity and stimulate awareness against violence and apathy towards the oneness of Nigeria, particularly, among youths. It is also to celebrate young Nigerian women; presenting them as unique blend of beauty, elegance, intelligence and excellence.

She said all the glory be to God Almighty for granting us success in all and further congratulate all her partners, supporters and the media who contributed to the success of the event.
