BREAKING: Pastor Adeboye’s loses son

Dare, third son of Adeboye, who was a youth, an assistant pastor in charge of Region 35, died in his sleep on Wednesday in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where he was based with his family. He had ministered the previous day and had returned home to sleep from which he passed on.

He was 42.

Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi, the Head of Media and Public Relations, RCCG, Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi, confirmed the the death of Dare to Punch newspapers.

He said, “It is true. The incident happened in Eket where he was based. I don’t have the details for now. Maybe before the end of today, we will issue a statement.”

The late Dare was neither sick nor on medication when the tragic incident happened.

When Dare marked his 42nd birthday in June last year (he would have been 43 in June 2021), Pastor Adeboye described him as his first miracle child. He wrote on his Facebook page then:

“Our first miracle child. We pray that God will keep his miraculous working power in your life and all those who needs a miracle today, will use you as a point of contact for their own in JESUS name. (Amen) love from Dad, Mom and the whole Adeboye dynasty.”
