Most people know that celebrities like Justin Bieber and Drake hail from Canada, or that Anthony Hopkins is British, but it may come as a shock when you find out the following celebs weren’t really born in the good ol’ U.S. of A.

Nicki Minaj – While she reps Queens in her songs, Nicki was actually born in Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago. Her mother moved her family to Queens, New York when Minaj was just five years old.
